Event Description:
(A travel must!) Did you watch the spectacular Opening Ceremony of 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing? Are you aware of the increasing news reports about China in our media lately? China’s growing economy has tremendous impact on the business in the U.S. Many people have chosen China for their next dream vacation! Whether you plan to travel or do business in China; or simply want to explore the language and culture that is so ancient and completely different from your own, this is for you! Designed as a China travel-must, this is a beginner-level Chinese course, which covers many “survival Chinese phrases” including greeting, weather, time, banking, shopping, restaurants, and much more. As a native Chinese having lived in the U.S. for 20 years, the instructor will provide valuable insight in Chinese culture and customs. So, come and join the fun! This class will equip you with the Chinese bare necessities to benefit your business and increase your pleasure of travel in China. Participants should bring paper and pencil to class.
