Event Description:
This class will allow you to learn to use the strip quilting process to make either a wall-hanging, a table runner, place mats or a vest in whatever fabrics you choose. Fall and Christmas fabrics are plentiful this time of year but you may use any combinations of fabrics for your project. This process allows you to quilt strips of fabric onto a foundation and expand it to do many different projects. You may choose to do either project and will need to have supplies for the project you choose. Except for the foundation piece, the project you choose will not require great amounts of different prints, so you may have fabrics (scraps) in your stash that you can use. These strips will be cut 2 inches wide. Start going through your stash and get ready to have fun! Participants will be mailed a supply list and beginning instructions so that the time in class can be used to the full advantage. Prerequisite: Must have experience sewing.
